Roland Bourgeois Obituary
Roland Herbert Bourgeois passed away Sunday, November 10, , at his residence in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 7, , in Ponchatoula, to the late Herbert Eugene Bourgeois and Inez Morales Bourgeois. Roland was a charter member of Westside Baptist Church in Ponchatoula, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a retired insurance agent. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Wagner (Matt); son, David Bourgeois (Stormie); grandchildren, Courtney Threeton (Braden), Jami Cupit (Ray), Rhett Wagner (Tressa), Lacy Helminiak (James), Breann Dees (Chris), Clint Goodwin (Jade), and Harley Bourgeois (Leroy); ten great grandchildren; and a sister, Linda Harper. In addition to his parents, Roland is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Alice Oline Bourgeois; brothers, Robert Bourgeois, and Hanson Bourgeois; and his sister, Gloria Silverthorne. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, on Friday, November 15, , beginning at a.m. until funeral services at p.m. conducted by Rev. Andy Stafford. Interment will follow in Sand
